You will be working in an enthusiastic and supportive team and will be directly reporting to the Event Manager

 


This position available is for 2 Event Facilitators who will be assisting our Events Manager with day events, information sessions, themed parties, quiz and other events we plan throughout the year. All of this is to contribute to the fantastic atmosphere and reputation we have built.  You will also be assisting our Unmask Fibromyalgia Masquerade Ball Coordinator with the preparation of our annual bal

 

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

Working closely with supportive, friendly and collaborative team

Design, plan, organise functions and events

Documentation and data entry

Liaising directly with stakeholders and office staff both through phone and email correspondence

Develop run sheets and making sure you are working within set budgets and guidelines

Post event evaluation

Providing input to key decision makers within the Events Team

Help coordinate the development and program of the event

Reach out to potential speakers to discuss the event and secure their support

Collate production requirements for provision to production

Approach local business for support and donations of prizes

Work closely with our Grant Writer to find suitable grants to help cover the cost of the event

Help with the set up and pull down of the event on the day

 

You will be supported and guided by the committee who will provide assistance in the lead up to the event.

 

Requirement Description

To be able to work both individually and in a team.

To be able to attend a meeting once a month and a work day once a week

Clear and professional both in written and verbal communication

Able to think creatively and show initiative

Confident within MS office

An all-rounder within event’s and used to organising anything from small talks to annual conferences would be beneficial but not essential.

Seek opportunities to build and maintain brand awareness

Manage social media, databases, websites and any related digital systems

Prioritise work in order to ensure efficient response times and deadlines are met.

Possess the confidence to meet & greet and take a hands on approach with functions & events
